言而有信, 定海神針,一錘到底!


正是因從自身财險保險工作事業所接觸到,見過和經歷過無數人間醜惡, 所以認識到這世界是由人類所组成,主導和主宰的,而人類只是動物的其中一種, 原本和最基本應该只是求食與求色, 但人類本身有人性 human nature, 亦同時有極多之人性弱點 human weaknesses , 包括生存和死亡, 而且人連自己根本是動物也認識和接受不了, 進而因文化, 教育,歷史, 宗教,背景,直至就算食與色那麼基本和簡單的也可因人性而被攪到極之複雜化,從而產生了見得到與見不到以及控制不到的風險 Risks 了! 而風險管理和保險業就是應對之道,在此方面有其正式理論和方法,所以除了做思想工作,做正做好做強做大保險業就是要從日常生活入手,處理思想, 教育人民,‘’言而有信‘’ 就是其中之一個基本點, 亦是一切關係和交往的核心原則, 随之而來就是要 真,直,誠, 但因人類趨利逐利追利和其他因人性弱點 human weaknesses 和因素所引起的問题, 很多說話和事情, 無論有多堅,有多真誠, 多麽簡單坦白和直率, 時常都很容易被誤會,輕视, 利用,甚至偏離了, 產生很多無謂的浪費,更甚至變為與原意相反,相勃!西方猶太美國就是用這些人性研究利用了去癫覆世界,製造私利,一切就是因為人性嘛!無數歷史和過往經驗己有所証明!不止是國家之間,人與人之間, 男女之間的尤其更甚, 因世界是由男和女两性所組成的!况且在現代電子社會, 因有通訊媒體平台和中介的加入, 過程之中更加容易受到影響, 尤其當受到還有其他的因素和利益所考慮着,之所謂 hidden agenda! 好了, 希望中國能徹底做好其應做的,從而能認真妥善教育和保護好人民, 禁止一切不好的利益和人為因素的考慮, 绝不盲從附和,合作和配合,绝不容許搬石頭砸自己的腳, 而加重了人與人之間的隔閡疑慮和利用!特別是當受到那些造山,竊國, 欺騙人民的假 共產黨所影響着和控制着的! 很幸運地我們中國有毛教員,毛澤東, 他己為中國和新世界立下了正確的规矩和思想,堅持公平正義, 一同進步, 謀幸福,邁向復興, 直至小康,然後最终共進大同!我仲心希望能得到大家所認同,互勉!尤其我所愛的人!更尤其是我愛的女人!

What brokers need most from insurers to handle claims crises?" (May 7, 2025) and "What regulators may have in store for MGAs?" (May 10, 2025)



Just some comments on the two (2) subject articles published recently in your Canadian Underwriter magazines.

Talking about claims crises, and actually about insurer delivering promises at claims, and consequently broker involvements in claims, the key factor of the matter is, do insurers really and truly want to, and like to, pay claims as they promised and required, in the first place? Where do claims crises come from, proximately and originally? Insurance business is about taking risks and paying claims, so how insurance business has been done every day, and all along? If insurance business is not about taking risks and paying claims, then what is insurance business for? Actually what is the insurance business model in doing insurance business? Just producing and making “sales productions” but don’t want to see claims or pay claims? And doing whatever is necessary to achieve and reach that end, including breaching all the Insurance theories and principles, reasonableness and fairness, and even all proper procedures, using consumers’ ignorance and inability, all in the name of business, and simply turn the insurance business model on its head? Is claim handling just a marketing tool based on broker business volume in trading dollars? What is the “Code of Conduct” of our insurance industry as a whole? Does it include seeing wrongs being done but say nothing and do nothing? Would more rules and guidelines being added change for the better? For whose better anyway?!

People don’t like risks, that’s how we got and have insurance business initially, not to speak of all the usual sales manoeuvres, but can we expect risk takers truly like risks (and claims consequently) in doing insurance business? In addition, what are the purposes and consequences of those MGAs, and also those broker consolidation strategies, while risks essentially remain same and as is, if not worse, in adding more management and separation layers, distance and possibly asymmetries between risks transferors (consumers and buyers) and ultimate risks takers? Would it make insurance business become better in terms of taking risks and paying claims?

What the Insurance Institutes and regulators, and also media like your trade magazine, have been doing and involving for the insurance industry in all these, say in the last 20 to 30 years, despite all that have been said, published and communicated? Actually, what are the involvements of the investment banking industry in all these, including their bankers and banking vehicles? At the end, up to now, as a proof, what has been happening to the western societies and the world societies as a whole since? Was Luigi Mangione an individual lone single situation? What have consumers learnt and copied from insurance business and from our insurance industry? And actually resulting in making the insurance buying process become the biggest risk of all? If there is no change, and only more aggravation to follow, as always, what would happen? Proofs are everywhere, and every day! Can it be salvaged by the wrong people, and their wrong strategies, again? And therefore just perpetual wrongful continuation, globally? In what direction will the industry and things be moving?

At the end, other than consumers, who will be benefitted? Is insurance business just a weird global subsidy system for those who actually don’t need to be subsidized, at the expense of those who are innocent and most incapable? Who designed and is taking advantage of the whole thing and everything? Is there anybody who cares, rather than just wait till something bad happens, directly or indirectly?! It seems people just don’t care anymore, and who always mistakenly think nothing will ever happen to them!

We firmly believe insurance business will become better for sure, if and when it can be done properly and accordingly!

The above questions, and many other questions, and comments, came to me in reading your articles and observing in my many years of doing insurance business.
