"言而有信". 是信仰, 是定海神針! 人間清醒. 要一錘到底! 我唔係人!


人多數只是相信和喜歡聽到看到自己喜歡的, 錯誤地謂之正能量! 亦因此很容易被誤導和利用!同時正是因從事自身财險保險業工作所接觸到的,見過和經歷過無數人間險惡,教育和影響到我看東西看事情很多時都先從醜惡的覺度去看! 亦明白到人之初, 根本就是性本惡! 充滿欺凌 Bully, 亦從而認識到這世界是由人類所组成和主導的,而人類只是動物的其中一種, 原本和最基本應该只是求食與求色, 但人類本身自有人性 human nature, 亦同時有極多之人性弱點 human weaknesses, 包括自身生死存亡, 就算不談生命和健康之寶貴及所引發的, 但人們連自己根本是動物也認識和接受不了, 進而因文化,教育,水平, 政治, 歷史,宗教,家庭,背景,素質, 包括 體育, 音樂, 娛樂, 所以直至食與色那麼基本和簡單的也可因人性及其弱點而被攪到極之混亂和複雜了,可以說其後果和因果一切都是由於自己因從最基本原始甚至不自知的喜愛或不喜愛而製造或被製造了出來的, 而在這一切之過程中, 已產生了很多見得到與見不到以及控制不到的風險 Risks 了!風險管理和保險業就是應對之道,對人性和人性弱點以作制衡,周而不息, 循環不止, 在此方面保險業和風險管理, 包括統計與精算, 全是有其正式理論和方法的,所以除了做思想工作和教育工作外,做正做好做強做大保險業就可以在日常生活中入手,處理思想, 教育人民,‘’言而有信‘’ 就是其中之一個最基本點, 亦是一切關係和交往的核心中之核心原則, 随之而來就是要 真,直,誠, 快, 但因人類不盡趨利逐利追利和其他因人性弱點 human weaknesses 和因素所引起的影響和問题,全紏缠了在一起,況且不只是一两個人, 而是全社會全人類, 所以很多說話和事情, 無論有多堅實,有多真誠, 多麽簡單坦白和直率, 時常都很容易被誤會,被輕视, 被利用, 甚至偏離了! 過程中產生了很多無謂的人為浪費和錯誤,更甚至變為與原意和事實相反,相勃的後果!這一切每天正在工作和生活中, 而尤其在自身風險管理和保險業中畸形奇怪地發生和發展着!因而保險業正是包含和反影了一切人性和人性弱點的平台!西方猶太美國就是用這些對人性和人性弱點的研究, 利用了去顛覆世界,製造, 増加和利用了人類人性的無知與無能 Ignorance and Inability, 用來製造私利, 製造和利用矛盾, 包括戰爭, 一切全就是源於人的不自知和人性本身嘛!希望中國不要學猶太人把應該是公平正義的保險業平台用作去製造合法手段來做非公平正義甚至不合法的事, 去掩蓋人性的醜惡, 更看深一些, 這亦正是美元霸權的原理與由來, 所以如果要削弱和控制美元霸權, 與之正面競爭, 做正做好保險業亦正是通道和機會, 無數歷史和過往經驗己有所証明!不需看太遠的, 猶太人在英國,在印度,在歐洲, 到現時在美國的, 已做過的, 包括其 Deep State 網絡,將來甚至會與中國的 假 共產黨 合作配合的, 全都是遺禍世界的危險组合!因為不止在國家之間,人與人之間, 男女之間的尤其更甚, 因世界是由男和女两性所組成的! 何况在現代電子社會, 因有通訊媒體平台和中介的加入, 過程之中更加容易受到不利影響, 尤其當然還有受到其隠藏在後面的因素, 在人性上再加上其利益所考慮着,之所謂 hidden agenda, 一切就更容易失控了 ! 使是非黑白對錯全被顛倒, 繼而 Making Wrong Become Right, and Right Become Wrong! 結論就是, 希望中國能徹底地做好做足其應做的,特別在風險管理和保險業中,從而能在日常工作和生活中認真妥善教育和保護好中國人民, 禁止一切不好的利益和人為因素所考慮的介入, 绝不盲從附和,甚至與之錯誤地合作和配合!請绝不要亦不可容許搬石頭砸自己的腳! 從而加重了人與人之間的隔閡疑慮和利用!尤其是當受到那些造山,竊國, 欺騙人民的 假 共產黨所影響着和控制着的權力和人民產業中而引發的! 如果他們與猶太美國组合成為同路人, 將绝不是中國人民之福, 更不是世界之福! 很幸運我們中國有毛教員, 毛澤東主席, 他的思想己為中國和新世界立下了正確的规矩和思想,堅持公平正義, 一同進步, 謀幸福,邁向復興, 直至小康,然後最终共進大同!這一切, 有一條件, 就是要堅持毛澤東思想, 要永遠堅持着, 绝不可只倚靠利用但又想抛棄!這正是醜惡人性的一種表現! 把不合法的變為合法, 更用貎似公平正義的去施行不公平正義! 希望大家都看到路線和階級的矛盾, 知所選擇, 更希望能得到大家的認同,明白和互勉!特別是我所愛的人!更尤其是我愛的女人!

不忘初心, 方得始終 !


"What brokers need most from insurers to handle claims crises?" (May 7, 2025) and "What regulators may have in store for MGAs?" (May 10, 2025)


Just some comments on the two (2) subject articles published recently in your Cxxxxxxx Underwriter magazines.

Talking about claims crises, and actually about insurer delivering promises at claims, and consequently broker involvements in claims, the key factor of the matter is, do insurers really and truly want to, and like to, pay claims as they promised and required in the first place? Where do claims crises actually come from, proximately and originally? Insurance business is about taking risks and paying claims, so how insurance business has been done every day, and all along? If insurance business is not about taking risks and paying claims, then what is insurance business for? What is the insurance business model for doing insurance business? Just producing and making “sales productions” but don’t want to see claims or pay claims? And just doing whatever is necessary to achieve and reach that end, including breaching all the Insurance theories and principles, reasonableness and fairness, and even all proper procedures, using consumers’ ignorance and inability, all in the name of business, and simply turn the insurance business model on its head? Is claim handling just a sales marketing tool or tactic based solely on broker business volume, or potential business volume, for trading dollars purpose? Is that how “business volumes” are built? What is the “Code of Conduct” of our insurance industry as a whole? Does it include seeing wrongs being done but say nothing and do nothing? Who would Insurers prefer to support in such “business model” afterall? Would more rules and guidelines being added to Continued Education change for the better, or even Insurance Education itself for that matter? For whose better anyway?!

People don’t like risks, that’s how we got and have insurance business initially, not to speak of all the sales manoeuvres, but can we expect Insurers truly like risks naturally, and consequently like claims, in doing insurance business? In addition, what are the purposes and consequences of those MGAs, and also those broker consolidation strategies, while risks remain same and as is, if not worse, in adding and allowing more management and separation layers, distance and possibly asymmetries to exist between insurance buyers (ultimate risks transferors) and Insurers (ultimate risks takers)? In fact, end up practically driving risks away and further away from Insurers! That means, not only driving business away and reducing profits for the producing brokers, but possibly making the business become driven to someone else who are in fact directly or indirectly owned by Insurers themselves? Would risks be reduced simply by trading dollars? Would it make insurance business become better in terms of taking risks and paying claims? Or in fact just making sales productions, by whatever and whoever, but in reality taking no risk, and at the end paying no claim! People might say, it is all just business! But is it ethical? What and how insurance business is supposed to be done?

In all these, what the Insurance Institutes and regulators, associations, and also media like your trade magazine, have been doing and involving for the insurance industry, say in the last 20 to 30 years, despite all that have been said, published, communicated and promoted? Actually, what are the involvements of the investment banking industry mingling along, including their bankers and banking vehicles? At the end, up to now, as a proof, what have been happening to the western societies and the world societies as a whole and as a consequence? Was Luigi Mangione an individual lone single isolated situation? What have consumers learnt and copied from insurance business and from our insurance industry? And consequently resulted in making the insurance buying process become the biggest risk of all? If there is no change, and only more aggravation to follow, like usual, what will happen? Proofs and evidences are everywhere, and every day! Can it be salvaged by the wrong people, with their wrong strategies, again? And therefore just perpetual and wrongful continuation, globally? In what direction will the industry and the world be moving?

At the end, except other than consumers, who will be benefitted? Is insurance business just a weird global subsidy system for those who actually don’t need to be subsidized, but at the expense of those who are innocent and most incapable? Who designed and is taking advantage of the whole thing and everything? Where do and where did all the money come from? Is there anybody who cares, rather than just wait till something really bad happens, directly and indirectly?! It seems people just don’t care anymore, and who also always mistakenly think nothing will ever happen to them as a result of all these!

We firmly believe insurance business, and thereby the world, will become better for sure and for all, if and when it can be done properly and accordingly!

The above soliloquizing questions, and many other questions, and comments, came to me in reading your articles and observing in my many years of doing insurance business.

人民是創造歷史的原動力


再想深一層, 在實務上, 教員說的確實真是個大道理!

事實上, 在日常生活中, 人類因施行或將其人性和人性弱點付諸行動, 或更贴切地說, 多是由於礙於低端文化的普通人, 因其人性弱點, 惡人先告狀地, 利用在各種環境中, 找機會將之施行和付諸實行, 更甚至是蠻不講理, 不合法地去實現!最差的當然是利用其微不足道的所謂權力去為難別人! 有些更以自己的階級作為利器, 在受到鼓勵和鼓動下, 將之變為行動, 不顧任何可能在外在内的阻攔, 甚至是偷偷摸摸地的, 有時更甚至被有心人利用了, 歷史就這樣地“創造“了出來!

人呀, 真是動物, 實是比動物更動物!更將一切醜惡, 利用人的喜愛, 標準和權力來美化! 歷史就這樣錯誤地被創造了出來!

這一切都是親身經歷過!真是可殺!

Dear Sirs,

People don’t like risks but yet want to be able to have compensations if something bad happens! That’s how we got our insurance business in the first place! All theories and advertisements aside, therefore, why would you think those who are in insurance business itself like to take risks and like to pay? Business is to make money, yet how to make money in doing insurance business, that means in taking risks and paying claims?!

“To insist, and persist, that’s the aim, and the goal!” (不忘初心, 方得始終 !) Actually it can be applied both ways, good or bad. And even simultaneously! Furthermore, people usually only like to do what they like to do, or don’t like to do, but NOT what they are supposed to do and what they say they do! That’s common human nature, actually human weaknesses, as manifested always! It is particularly so when money is involved, such in Insurance Business!

I query myself often, from a reality standpoint, which is the best business in the world, in that money and profits will just come naturally, and no need to really do or risk anything to get it? Or perhaps, put it in another way, bluntly, in that sellers can just take advantage of buyers’ ignorance and inability in what they buy, especially when it is something they don’t know and don’t even like to buy or even to know, and therefore they (sellers) will never need to perform or deliver on what were sold or promised? And simply create and install continuous ignorance and inability so as to make it happen naturally, so to speak! In addition, always not how to make things easy, but how to make it difficult! The nicest part is, the subject of the transaction might not even happen, and it doesn’t even need actual raw material cost to produce the “product”! Just verbal promise only! It sounds very “Utopian”, isn’t it! All at the expense of someone else anyway! Is this real? Can it happen? Does such kind of business exist? Now, let’s talk about insurance business and investments in insurance business, and all the mess!

I was in a Hong Kong hotel and incidentally clicked on a China TV Talk Show “Please Ask”, talking about Luigi Mangione and Warren Buffett. It proves, I am not alone in my such “fantasy”! Also, it seems the general public understanding of insurance business is still at its peripheral surface only, about making sales and later on claims being declined, left and right, especially big claims! And the jokes and humours accompanying that! In the course, the hard fact is, destroyed were many careers and businesses, credibility and relationships, and their stories! And yet no one really touched on the implication of its annual global sales of 27 Trillion US, being almost equal to the total accumulated US national and global Dollar Deficit of 36 Trillions! Talking about such big money, what and how Canada is doing?!

I was involved in the implementation of the Council’s CE system in the early 1990’s as an IBABC member/Director of their Education Committee when it began. I always put things in writing, as my usual practice, in doing my work. Never verbal. Later on, I was suddenly and abruptly asked to resign from all my such involvement and everything, by Jxxx Hxxxxxxx, the manager, and the IBABC President ”Mxxxxx” at the time, but with no reason or reasoning ever announced or being given whatsoever!

“people” must have mistakenly thought by applying exclusion on me like that could facilitate and make things happen as they wanted, no matter how wrong and unreasonable they were! I also found out, in insurance business, this is a very common tactic against those who only want to do their job properly, to do what they are supposed to do and for their clients, in order NOT to take risk, and never want to pay claims, therefore by being provided with no support, allowing no market access, and simply outright cancellation with the intention to driving them out of business instead! These happen so often! But isn’t providing insurance what insurance business all about?! You can imagine, pretty soon, what’s left in the market and who will be remain in the industry?! The best? But in what, and in doing what?! In fact, those who truly want to do good in what they do, or just those who want to “sell things”, even when actually with no insurance, and even pursuing business hidden agenda other than insurance! When unreasoning takes over reasoning, only conflicts and hatreds will be added along the way always, all the way! No wonder!

Also, has anybody ever alleviated the situation for those who have to bear and suffer in all these ultimately and unavoidably, including particularly consumers? The situation landed on me that as if they could always do whatever they like, with a sense of impunity! Perhaps, they just don’t care, same like most insurance buyers who thought nothing will ever happen to them anyway, buy or no buy, or like sellers who already collected their money upfront (premiums and commissions) in doing the transactions, and don’t care either! It has become like an invisible epidemic, or even a no-cure pandemic, plaguing the whole industry, and the world! When NOT doing what is supposed to do HAS in fact BECOME what is supposed to do, what will be the consequences, and also the price people have to pay? “people“ might say they are supposed to make money only, but by doing what? By system manipulation and legally collaborative wording designs, and continuously changing as necessary, and further additional designs, or whatever? Do people see and understand 27 Trillion is only a very small number, if they could just do what they say they do and do what they are supposed to do, with no B…..… , in blowing their own horn, and just wasting money and air!

Business will thrive if employees like what they sell and deliver, and buyers also like what they buy! How about applying it to insurance business? Just making sales, by doing whatever, and please don’t ask, even actually with no insurance cover and can never claim?! All based on a weird business model and market organization, and just trading dollars based on business volume? That explains the extreme polarization and awkwardness in this industry! Where are all the proper theories, practices and methods in doing insurance business? Are we just selling beautifully printed paper “products”, but in fact insurance contracts designed and installed with failures and exits, especially at a time when they are needed most to be executed and put to use? If the insurance “business model” is to sell insurance products, yet can provide no insurance when they are needed, except by way of trading dollars, so what are being sold, and what we are doing, actually?!

It was my first colliding incident with “things” as observed happening in this industry, yet always being hidden from public eyes. It seems to me there is no respect for principles, guidelines, rules and regulations, or even laws, including even qualifications and standards, and can simply create whatever that can let the makers and creators continue to play the game, or games, and twist things, just to suit with their various agenda and “purpose(s)”, and continue to just keeping things hidden from the surface! There it goes, as evidenced by what we now see happening in the world, in almost everything, and not only in the insurance industry!

Ever since, I have been researching on the industry, going through many similar unscrupulous incidents, situations, and experiences, the hard way, and I just put my observations and conclusions, and all that I have learnt, onto my own websites as proofs, and together with other networks and web links, for educating mainly in the developing markets, and yet I still frequently encountered lots of very unpleasant and unwanted “outcomes” of the same nature also, all from the traditional mature markets and segments I have been operating in for over 50 years! I just feel I must not allow more insults to be added to the insurance profession anymore!

Yet, it is my findings that, after all these time, this industry has NEVER been normal anyway, or can ever become normal and better, and has never done what it is supposed to do and what it says is doing, despite all its “Insurance Education” and “Continued Education”, and in fact has become even worse and continues to deteriorate further and faster, in terms of its many practices and phenomena, as manifested, and as usual! Insurance Business is supposed to mend and heal human weaknesses and human lives, in dealing with risks and uncertainties, and it has turned out it is being misused and being played on instead, and just adding and aggravating things even further in the process, knowingly and unknowingly, continuously and perpetually, together with ever more unreasoning!

However, people and the consumer public usually don’t see, don’t know and don’t understand anyway, as to what is going on, and many our “people” never admit it either, together with lots of their manoeuvres and gimmicks to deviate and camouflage the facts and truths they try to hide! It turns “Insurance Education” and “Continued Education (CE)” to becoming only part of such game or game plan, in terms of and in coordination with its old traditional Business Model, and being twisted all the way! Adding and creating more rules, regulations, guidelines, or even laws, will make things so solidified and mandatory that nothing really positive or truly productive can happen, but only the opposite, and creating more difficulties, claim delays and deferrals as needed! As a result, often making proper practices become just impractical, and impossible to be practiced, in actual practice! Maybe that’s the whole purpose and game about “practices” anyway, in legal or regulatory sense! And it began with well planned enhanced change in “Insurance Education” itself, about 35 years ago, with in-depth strong support from the Canada insurance institutions and establishments, and all those behind! Where are they now? All retired, or simply stay anonymous? No wonder things have become so fake and broken, in everything, albeit the industry worldwide annual sales are in the multi Trillions US! Do “people” see what true prosperous and real positive change can bring, if they could ever possibly bring?!

Can the industry stay as a global unfair financial subsidy system forever by just turning the Theory of Insurance Business upside down, to make wrong become right, and even right become wrong, and then by adding more justifications thereafter to cover, in twisting its Business Model all together and breaching every principle in the Theory of Insurance Business, True Agreement of Minds is replaced by agreement to buy, based on very thin, definitely no utmost, actually no Good Faith, together with many never ending deviations and camouflages, including blindly using “management theory”, so as to add and create more ignorance, inability, distance and separation layers in between consumers and insurers? Insurance Business, the way it is being done, actually has become the hidden ultimate and proximate cause of most if not ALL the wrongs in this world, not just in Canada, because people simply learn and copy along the line, daily, and even being almost indirectly encouraged and permitted to do that, in everything! Because insurance business as it is has become the playground for human weaknesses, in super scale!

Can Insurance Business ever become more proper and successful? But “Proper and successful” in what sense? And for whom? In fact, can insurance business ever become better, easier and simpler, the way it should be and supposed to be, for us and for all people who are involved? The past and its history is a proof, or counter proof! We must not allow or make Insurance Business become just an indirect and invisible tax system on insurance buyers and consumers, and end up as an inequitable subsidy and incomes to investors who don’t even need to be subsidized at all, so that money will forever come to them automatically and no need to do anything, except those who unavoidably and inevitably have to bear and pay for it all! Insurance business truly touches on everyone and everything in this world!

Ignorance and Inability and the asymmetries so installed have attained to a stage, as it is now, and almost can never change! And “people” still want to “improve” further on it even, so to speak?! Again, what’s the purpose, other than aggravating it and making use of it further? Or simply burying everything alive with it, practically! Frankly, do they truly know what they are doing, or perhaps they know it just too well? And therefore just let everything continue to expand, run its course, continuously being dumped on and become part of its enhanced and yet weird Business Model so as to make money the way they want in doing their “insurance” business? Insurance business with no insurance?! No wonder so many are forced to give up, have chosen to give up, and are giving up! Should we all just do the same, and don’t care? What will become insurance and its insurance industry in Canada? What will become our society, our country, and the world?!

How many Luigi Mangione extreme cases do we need more to prove, before we can see and really do change? How many add-no-value industry wide commission reducing “reorganization” structure and set up and more money wasting asymmetries in increasing separation and distance between insurance buyers and risk takers do we need so as just to enhance the whole trading dollar game, and add more ignorance and inabilities, before we can see true and real money making in doing insurance business, and therefore, before that, just let things continue to mutate themselves further instead, and to doing self-damages to the Insurance industry itself forever? What’s behind and who’s behind all these? Would deaths, or retirements, solve all the legacies so created, or just add more? What are all the industry agencies, institutions and establishments supposed to do in the first place, or just do nothing, turn a blind eye and just carry on?!

At the end, where will we all be going? My insight is, more than ever than before, just going NOWHERE! Exactly like “Insurance Education” and “Continued Education (CE)” have failed or almost voluntarily made to fail, the way it is done, particularly in the last 30 to 40 years…………….., exactly as I had projected, right from the very beginning!

Real competitiveness is doing what others cannot and dare not even imagine! However, nobody cares anyway!

I will be doing more semi-retirement real “Insurance Education and Continued Education” trips soon, meeting up with those who can implement something new and truly change the game!
